Imagery Textile a subsidiary of Giansingh Amarnath R.O.P was founded by Mr. Mangal Singh 60 years ago. The group had expanded considerably and had established trading offices in New York, which was previously the hub of the world textile market. Trading offices were also established in Japan.
ADAPTING TO CHANGES
Adaptability and adjustment to changes are the major pre requisites for the success of any business organization. Therefore when Thailand had become a fore runner in world Textile Trade, with a number of factories multiplying the base of Giansingh Amarnath was shifted to Bangkok and the firm established itself as one of the leaders in local textile trade as well as Exports. Prudent business practices coupled with integrity had helped the firm to carve out a niche for itself as one of the leading textile trading houses based in Bangkok.
The rapport and the goodwill which was gradually developed over the years has stood the firm in good stead and as a result the firm has consolidated for itself a network of customers as well as suppliers including large mills like Erawan Textiles, Mitsubishi Co(Thailand) Ltd., Thai Textile Industry Ltd. , Vichien Weaving Ltd. The expansion plan included investment in imported looms and tie up with reputed textile mills in Thailand.
GROOMED FOR TAKING OVER
Mr. Sukchai Kokar, fourth son of Mr. Mangal Singh, after graduating from international school in Bangkok first went to Singapore to study Computer programming. Later at the age of twenty three he was absorbed into the family business and was posted in Los Angeles to take charge of purchases. After serving for about five years in America he returned to Thailand and was made in charge of the export division of the group.
The company which had the dual advantage of the goodwill lent by the Giansingh name and nearly two decades of experience of the Managing Director in the field of Textile Trade, has carved out a niche for itself and established as one of the leaders in the field of Textile Exports. Having been in the same field for nearly two decades, Mr. Sukchai Koghar was able to identify well on time the changes in demand for different types of fabrics across various parts of the world and thus he enabled G.A.EXPORTS to tap the right markets and also the correct sources.
Presently we have a team of about 20 employees assisting the management in various capacities and the Marketing and Sales is being managed by the Managing Director himself. We also have contracts with well established printing and processing factories in Bangkok so that our finishing is entirely up to the mark and a Hundred percent customer satisfaction is always guaranteed.
Present Line of Specialisation & Markets: At present we largely market Shirt & Blouse weigh fabric in solid dyed, yarn dyed and printed varieties, especially 100% cotton, 100% rayon, polyester 65/35%, CVC 60/40%. In various yarn counts and construction. Our customer base is spread over High End Markets of U.S.A., Europe, Japan and Middle East.
